If your tour is covered by the Book with Confidence policy for a tour departing on or before December 31, 2023 you will also be able to cancel and rebook your tour should you test positive for COVID-19 within 14 days of departure. See below for more details.

General Terms: Effective July 1, 2022 until December 31, 2023, book travel with us departing between July 1, 2022 and December 31, 2023. Travellers who make bookings under the ‘Book with Confidence’ travel policy for a tour departing between July 1, 2022 and December 31, 2023 will be permitted to cancel their confirmed tour services, pre- or post tour accommodation services, extra services, or transfer services at any time prior to 30 45 days from the date of tour departure (with the exception of the G Expedition, Private Groups and the ‘Book Your Bubble Collection’, as outlined below) at no charge if they also rebook another tour service and/or reschedule travel to a later date, which later date must be within two years of the initial departure date. The traveller must rebook their deferred travel at the same time as their cancellation in order for the ‘Book with Confidence’ policy to be applicable. For cancellations made within 45 days before departure, a Lifetime Deposit will be held and full fees will be charged.(with the exception of the G Expedition, and the ‘Book Your Bubble Collection’, as outlined below)
For tours booked to depart between July 1, 2022 and December 31, 2023, the traveller will be responsible to pay the difference if the rebooked tour is priced higher than the original tour and will receive a travel credit for the difference that will be kept on file with G Adventures for two years from the date of rebooking if the rebooked tour is priced lower than the original tour.
Travellers may make an unlimited number of initial bookings under this ‘Book with Confidence’ policy, however each such booking may only be cancelled and rebooked one time. Further tour or date changes after the first rebooking are subject to G Adventures' standard terms and conditions. Notwithstanding the COVID-19 Reason section below, where a booking is cancelled for a COVID reason, the rebooked tour may be cancelled and rebooked one further time under this policy. This policy does not entitle the traveller to a full refund.This policy does not apply to airfare or insurance. Any airline change or cancellation fees are solely the responsibility of the traveller and are subject to airline policies. No refunds will be provided in respect to any visas, travel insurance, or vaccines, which are solely the responsibility of the traveller. Customers may not cancel and rebook Custom or TailorMade tours under this policy, but may rebook any other eligible tour onto a Custom or TailorMade Tour, subject to the terms of this policy.
The following tours are excluded from the ‘Book with Confidence’ policy and are subject to G Adventures’ standard booking terms and conditions:
Any tours that include a Mount Kinabalu permit are subject to a non-refundable fee of USD $100 for any cancellations and rebookings under this ‘Book with Confidence’ policy.
Any tours that include an Inca Trail permit are subject to a non-refundable fee of USD $125 for any cancellations and rebookings under this ‘Book with Confidence’ policy.

Travellers who book on one of the ‘Book Your Bubble Collection’ tours set out in the chart below will receive access to the ‘Book with Confidence’ travel policy, for greater flexibility in cancelling and rebooking their private departure. Bookings must be made up until December 31, 2023 at 23:59 EST for travel until December 31, 2023. Travellers will be permitted to cancel their confirmed tour services, pre- or post tour accommodation services, extra services, or transfer services up until the time set out below at no charge, if they also rebook another tour service and/or reschedule travel to a later date. Travellers who have been issued a Suspension Travel Credit as a result of a tour suspension due to COVID-19 are entitled to use such Suspension Travel Credit for bookings under the ‘Book with Confidence’ policy. All other terms set out in this policy apply unless specified otherwise.
